Fr. Tim Kitzke
Fr. Kitzke was born in South Milwaukee and did his
priestly training at St. Francis Seminary, Catholic University of
America in Washington, D.C. and the Catholic University of Louvain in
Belgium. Ordained in 1989, he has served at St. Roman Parish, Holy
Family Parish, and in 1999 was assigned to bring together three
parishes, Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary, St. Hedwig, and St. Rita. He
attributes the success of the merger to the wonderful parishioners,
both old and new, and a staff, parish leadership, and many volunteers
who give of their time, talent, and treasures to make our parish the
loving family it is.
In 2006, he was also assigned as pastor of Old St. Mary
Parish in downtown Milwaukee and serves as dean of District 13. He also
serves as chaplain to several groups in the archdiocese, and serves as
speaker and director at various groups and retreats through the year.
Fr. Tim is grateful to God to serve as priest and looks
forward to many more years of service to Christ and the Church. Above
all he aspires to be a good and faithful servant to Christ’s
people, through prayer, devotedly presiding and preaching at Mass and
the Sacraments, teaching, counseling, and helping his parish reach out
to the poor.
Fr. Brian Mason, Moderator
Father Brian Mason grew up in Menomonee Falls with his
parents, Ron and Doris Mason, and younger sister, Andria. He received a
Bachelor of Arts degree from Marquette University in 1988 and a Master
of Divinity degree from St. Francis Seminary in 1993. He was ordained a
priest for the Archdiocese of Milwaukee on May 22, 1993.
Since his ordination, Father Brian has served as
associate pastor of St. Veronica and St. Matthias Parishes in Milwaukee
and as pastor of St. Mary Parish, Waukesha and St. Richard Parish,
Racine. From 2005-2008 Father served the Archdiocese of Milwaukee as
the associate vicar for clergy. He has served as a member of the
archdiocesan liturgical commission, archdiocesan planning commission,
archdiocesan building commission and the archdiocesan council of
priests. Father Brian is currently moderator of the Priest Placement
Board.
Father Brian’s heart lies in being a parish
priest. Celebrating the sacraments, preaching, visiting the sick,
teaching young and old, and being with parishioners are among his
favorite aspects of parish ministry. In his spare time, Father Brian
enjoys spending time with his family and friends, cooking, enjoying the
fine arts, reading and rooting for the Brewers, Packers and Golden
Eagles.
